Moonlight Onyx Coasters

Four coasters, each cut from a distinct section of the onyx - the sage-green veining falls differently across every piece, the peach and blush tones shifting in distribution from one to the next. The form is straightforward: round, flat-topped, with a softly rounded edge and a profile substantial enough to carry a full glass without movement.

A bar cart set up in the corner of a wide sitting room - glasses already poured, the coasters placed out before guests arrive. The four sit together on the surface, the stone's variation visible side by side. Each carries a slightly different read of the same material; the set holds together without being uniform.
