Jade Green Marble Slab

The process begins with extracting large blocks of marble from a quarry. Specialized machinery and meticulous techniques remove the marble with minimal damage. The quarried blocks are then transported to the manufacturing plant for further processing.

At the factory, marble blocks are cut into slabs using high-precision gang saws or wire saws. This ensures consistency in thickness and size. Each slab is inspected for any visible flaws or imperfections to be addressed before further processing.

The slabs undergo a polishing process where the surface is treated with an abrasive pad to achieve a smooth, shiny finish. This enhances the natural color and texture of the stone. For customers who prefer a matte finish, the slabs can be honed, which grinds the surface to a smooth but non-reflective surface.

The edges of the marble slabs are carefully shaped and finished to the desired specifications. Options include straight edges, beveled edges, or more complex edge designs. The edges are polished or honed to match the surface finish of the slab.

Some slabs may require reinforcement, such as applying a fiberglass mesh to the back, to increase strength and prevent cracking during handling and installation.

A protective sealer is applied to the surface of the marble slab to enhance resistance to stains and moisture. This step is essential to preserve the appearance and durability of the marble. Allow the sealer to cure properly before packaging the slab.

Each slab undergoes a thorough final inspection to ensure it meets all quality standards. Any defective slabs are repaired or discarded. Detailed records are kept for each batch, including origin, processing details, and quality checks.
